Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are and What This Covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Atomic Strata ("Atomic Strata," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with AtomicMemory Cloud — the developer console at memory.atomicstrata.ai and the hosted memory API and SDKs (collectively, the "Services"). It is separate from the privacy policy for our marketing website.
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — when you sign up, our authentication provider collects your name, email address, and sign-in credentials so we can create and secure your account.
- Customer Content ("memories") — the data you send to the Services through the API, SDKs, CLI, or console to be stored, embedded, searched, and retrieved. You control this content and it may contain personal information you choose to include.
- Usage and technical data — API keys, request metadata, usage counts, and server logs (including IP address) generated when you use the Services.
- Analytics data — with your consent, product analytics and session data about how you use the console.
- Communications — if you contact us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services — including storing, embedding, searching, and retrieving your Customer Content
- Authenticate you and secure your account and API keys
- Prevent, detect, and respond to abuse, fraud, and security issues
- Understand and improve how the Services are used
- Communicate with you about the Services and respond to requests
We process your Customer Content solely to provide the Services to you. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your Customer Content to train foundation models.
4. Storage and Security
Customer Content and account data are stored in managed databases (including vector storage for embeddings) hosted with our infrastructure providers. We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit and access controls to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your Customer Content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You can delete individual memories or your account at any time through the console or the API; deletion removes content from active systems, though residual copies may persist in backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
During any beta or preview period, stored data may be reset as the Services evolve; do not rely on the Services as a system of record for data you cannot reproduce.
6. Subprocessors and Third Parties
We share data only with providers that process it on our behalf to deliver the Services, such as:
- An authentication provider, to manage sign-in and accounts
- Cloud hosting and database providers, to run the API and store data
- A product-analytics provider, for consent-based usage analytics
- A bot-protection provider (Google reCAPTCHA), on public forms such as "Book a demo"
These providers are bound to use the data only to provide services to us. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the console. Product analytics run only with your consent; where session data is captured, text you enter into form fields is masked. You can withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings.
8. International Data Transfers
Our providers process data on infrastructure located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, or to object to certain processing. You can access and delete much of your data directly in the console. To make a request, email support@atomicstrata.ai.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
